COMPOSITION of our pychobiotic
Each capsule contains unique strains of probiotic bacteria and FOS prebiotic. The strains mentioned are Bifidobacterium infantis (BI02), Bifidobacterium longum (BL-G301), Lactobacillus acidophilus (LA02), Lactobacillus helveticus (LH060), Lactobacillus reuteri (LRE02) and Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG. Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium are types of probiotic bacteria that actively secrete the neurotransmitter GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), a deficiency of which is associated with the occurrence of depression. As a curiosity, eating dark chocolate leads to an increase in the number of bacteria of both families in the intestines due to the prebiotic effect of the polyphenols it contains. Lactobacillus rhamnosus also reduces anxiety. It is worth noting that the product comes in the form of 30 gastro-resistant capsules that are resistant to low gastric pH, allowing the bacteria to safely reach their target site.
INSTRUCTIONS for use
Take 1 capsule with 200 ml of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Gut-Brain Axis
PSYCHOBIOTICS as a natural substitute
for classic antidepressants
Psychobiotics, a term originally introduced by Professor John Crean and Professor Timothy Dinan, Head of the Department of Psychiatry at the National University of Ireland, and updated to its current definition in 2016, refers to probiotics and prebiotics that can influence the relationship between the gut and the brain. Psychobiotics are defined by experts as living microorganisms within the gut flora (Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium), whose right proportions have a positive effect on mental health.
Professor J. Crean and Professor T. Dinan, and colleagues decided in 2016 that due to their outstanding qualities, psychobiotics should be singled out as a special group in the probiotics list and could be a revolution in the nonmedicated treatment of depression and stress. The relationship between the digestive and nervous systems is regulated through the gut-brain axis (GBA), a bidirectional communication system through which the brain controls gastrointestinal functions and vice versa.

7.2 percent of the population suffers from depression*
Depression, also known as major depressive disorder, is a mental health disorder that negatively affects how a person feels, thinks, and acts. The Global Health Data Exchange estimates that 251-310 million people worldwide suffer from depression. While depression is common, it is also, fortunately, treatable (2022).
According to a study conducted by Eurofund in March 2022 the average level of mental well-being in the EU was 45 – a worrying decline comparing even to the level recorded in 2021 (47), despite the lifting of most lockdown measures as of today. The researchers link the results of this study to inflation, rising energy crisis and the on-going war in Ukraine.
UNICEF report describes frighting statistic for adolescent mental health in Europe. The report finds that almost one in five European boys aged 15 to 19 suffer from mental disorders, followed by more than 16 percent of girls the same age. Nine million adolescents in Europe (aged 10 to 19) are living with mental disorders, with anxiety and depression accounting for more than half of all cases.
